Founded in 1996, Home Health Testing was one of the first pioneers to offer at-home health testing kits on the Internet. Our mission has always been to "put your health in your hands," enabling individuals, small businesses, and organizations to access health-related and drug testing products for use at home or onsite. In 2021, Mattias and Lisa MacDowell took the helm, bringing a fresh perspective and a renewed passion for helping people take charge of their health. With a background in technology and healthcare and a shared commitment to innovation, Mattias and Lisa have continued to drive our mission forward.

Meet the Owners: Mattias and Lisa MacDowell

Since 1996, Mattias and Lisa MacDowell have been blending their talents in business, healthcare, and technology to create impactful ventures. Together, they bring over 20 years of experience in launching and growing companies, and they have successfully grown businesses in home services, medical devices, and eCommerce. Mattias also served in the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division.

Residing in Wilmington, NC, Mattias and Lisa are dedicated to demystifying health testing and empowering individuals to manage their health easily. When they’re not working, they enjoy spending time with their three children, traveling in their Airstream, and engaging in outdoor activities like surfing, paddleboarding, and mountain biking. Their latest venture, Home Health Testing, reflects their passion for providing accurate, user-friendly, and affordable testing solutions, helping you take control of your health with confidence and ease.
